The 50-3150FR with catalyst 12 has been a trusted high performance thermally conductive epoxy potting compound for decades. The 50-3150FR with catalyst 12 is UL 94V-0 listed (File Number E235584), which is a common flame retardant requirement for power electronics and automotive/electric vehicle applications..

With catalyst 12, this system has high thermal conductivity (2.16 W/m°K), a low viscosity (2,000 cps), and has a long pot life with a low exothermic reaction, making it ideal for large castings. Epoxies, Etc.’s 50-3141FR is a toughened, two-component, fast curing thermally conductive epoxy adhesive that meets UL94 V-0 flame retardant requirements. 50-3141FR provides a unique combination of high lap shear strength, high peel resistance and impact endurance. The 2:1 mix ratio system sets in just 25 minutes at room temperature and develops a 2,000 psi lap shear strength in just 4 hours. 20-3305: Epoxy Potting Compound Formulated To Resist Thermal Shock and Cycling

The new 20-3305 is an easy to use epoxy formulated to handle critical, high voltage electronic requirements, and provides electronic assemblies protection from severe thermal cycling and shock. The 20-3305 exhibits excellent dielectric strength and volume resistivity, and can handle a wide range of temperatures.

This thermal shock epoxy is low in viscosity and therefore flows quickly around components.  20-3305 is typically cured at 120°C for 4 hours.

CRANSTON, Rhode Island (Mar. 9, 2020) – Epoxies, Etc. and Epoxy Technology, Inc., two established companies serving the electronics, automotive, medical, aerospace and industrial markets, recently announced a commercial alignment to offer more dynamic solutions to clients.

The partnership was implemented after the purchase of both companies by Meridian Adhesives Group, a platform in the global adhesives and sealants sector. Together, the companies will bring more products to design engineers working on demanding electronic and assembly bonding applications.

Epoxy Technology is a leader in microelectronic applications, with an emphasis on halogen-free epoxies, low outgassing materials, specialty UV curable systems and ISO 10993 bio-compatible adhesives. COVID-19 Update

As COVID-19 continues to impact the global community, I want to personally update you on the steps we have taken to protect business continuity for all our customers. It goes without saying that, while ensuring the success of our customers is a primary focus, the health and safety of our employees, customers, partners and their families are paramount. 

Based on the guidance from the World Health Organization, we have reinforced our daily operations with specific steps to account for COVID-19.  

  1. We are closely following guidelines set by the CDC to mitigate risk to our employees and customers.
  2. We are advising against international travel at this time, and encouraging any necessary domestic travel be done responsibly.
  3. We have asked all employees to take recommended precautions to prevent exposing themselves to a possible infection and also to help stop the spread of the pandemic – any employee that has remote suspicion that they may be infected has been advised to remain at home and seek medical attention.
  4. We have instructed employees to leverage technology at our disposal and conduct internal and external meetings virtually as much as possible.
  5. We are working to move all internal and external events, such as marketing conferences, trainings, customer presentations, etc. to virtual platforms. Optically Clear Potting Compounds

Epoxies, Etc. formulates a variety of solutions for applications that require water clear potting compounds. Epoxies, Etc. offers optically clear silicones, urethanes, and epoxies that could work for your application. Optically clear, low viscosity silicone that offers customers an easy 1:1 mix ratio. This silicone provides a soft, flexible potting compound that won’t put stress on components and will not yellow over time. Great for high temperature (200°C) applications. Offered in TriggerBond™ cartridges.

Water clear urethane with excellent environment resistance and low viscosity. This 1:1, non-yellowing compound offers excellent adhesion and flexibility and is a great choice for outdoor applications that will see extended UV exposure or extreme weather. Offered in TriggerBond™ cartridges.

Very low viscosity, water clear potting compound. This rigid epoxy offers the highest adhesion and best chemical resistance of the optically clear potting compounds. Easy to work with 2:1 mix ratio cures bubble free and glass smooth. Offered in TriggerBond™ cartridges.
